Making your own granola is often much more cost effective than shop bought options and gives you full control over the ingredients and sweetness. Using the airfryer also makes the process quick and convenient, ideal for busy mornings or weekly prep.

Ingredients
250g organic rolled oats
50g mixed nuts such as pecans, almonds and cashews
50g mixed seeds, an omega 3 seed mix works well
25g desiccated coconut
50ml maple syrup
50g coconut oil
50g dried fruit such as cranberries and raisins
Method:
Preheat the airfryer to 200°C and line the basket with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, seeds, coconut, maple syrup and coconut oil. Mix until evenly coated.
Spread the mixture evenly in the airfryer basket.
Cook for approximately 15 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even toasting and to prevent burning.
Remove and allow to cool completely, then stir through the dried fruit.
Tips:
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Using organic oats can help reduce exposure to pesticide residues, as oats can be more heavily
sprayed than some other grains.
This recipe is very adaptable. You can vary the nuts, seeds and dried fruit, or add flavours such as cinnamon or vanilla depending on your preference.
